Project description, objectives, and expected/achieved results: The project involves the development of a QR code-based digital platform for the wine industry that will provide detailed, up-to-date, and multilingual information about wines, including origin, grape varieties, production methods, tasting notes, ingredients, and nutritional information.
The initiative aims to improve communication between producers and consumers, enhance transparency, and provide a more informed shopping experience. It also seeks to reduce the use of paper, ink, and energy associated with the production of back labels and technical data sheets, thereby promoting greater efficiency in resource use.
The project is expected to introduce a new digital product, accessible via mobile devices, that will facilitate the management and retrieval of wine-related content, increase the company’s competitiveness, and contribute to the digitization and environmental sustainability of the wine sector.
